My client is a technology leader delivering high-performance fabrics for High-Performance Computing (HPC), High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the purpose of delivering interconnect solutions that enable their customers to optimally apply vast computational resources to solve the world’s toughest problems.

My client is hiring talented Electronic Test Engineers with experience in system and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Test Engineering processes and procedures, including product test feature architecture, functional test plan definition and execution, and software scripting to support the testing of the next generation Cornelis Networks Fabric platforms.

Responsibilities include:

Working with design, software, and mechanical engineering to develop system, module, and board level tests in addition to validation requirements, schedules, and quality targets
Assisting in managing project teams, developing test strategies, and designing quality practices
Leading Engineering teams in the investigation process which includes identifying, reproducing, and documenting defects, bugs, or problems
Assisting engineering designers in gathering and analyzing data
Developing troubleshooting tools and techniques to analyze production test failures
Developing the necessary engineering documentation for the support of the products
Supporting compliance and regulatory testing
Assist in the planning, review, and implementation of test engineering strategy

Minimum qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with engineering test specification, test fixture design, debug, and lab testing experience
Demonstrated strength with system-level debug and determining the root cause of technical issues
Demonstrated strength with lab equipment including, but not limited to: DMM, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, impedance analyzers, and frequency spectrum analyzer
Ability to read and interpret component datasheets, PCB schematics and layout design
Strong verbal and written communications skills

Preferred qualifications:

Strong electronic troubleshooting and analytical skills, including familiarity with I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, and other high-speed signaling protocols
Experience with FPGAs and programmable logic devices (PLD)
Knowledge of PCB assembly processing and reworking methods for SMT components
Experience with programming skills in tools such as C, Visual Basic, Perl, TCL, RTL, etc.
Experience with Signal integrity validation tools and equipment
