Perform software development and testing of power grid management system
Implement above using Java on Linux and specialized embedded power sensors
Contribute to system documentation.
Support integration and testing.


Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.


Experience with implementation of power grid control systems
5 Years’ experience software development and/or testing
Experience developing using Java on Linux or similar
Candidate must be familiar with TCP/IP technology
Experience with integration testing of networked systems.
Experience with Git and Eclipse.
Experience developing for and in both Windows and Linux (including embedded) environments.
Must be a permanent US resident or US citizen. Visa holders are not eligible.
Desired experience

S. or M.S. in computer science, electrical engineering or closely related field
Experience with SCADA systems and protocols (e.g. Modbus) a plus.
Experience with secure networking techniques
Understanding of power grid and systems concepts and terminology (voltage, current, real and reactive power, frequency, phase angle)
