Join a stealth-mode technology venture at the intersection of robotics, AI, and industrial automation. We’re building intelligent systems that transform how machines perceive and interact with their environments. Backed by committed investors and led by a team of seasoned engineers, we’re pushing the boundaries of autonomous control and perception. If you’re passionate about computer vision and machine learning, and thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments, this is your chance to shape the future of intelligent automation.

Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Vision Systems Architect with deep expertise in perception engineering. This role focuses on developing and deploying advanced visual intelligence for robotic platforms, combining classical computer vision with modern deep learning techniques. You’ll lead efforts in sensor integration, algorithm development, and system calibration to enable robust, real-time environmental understanding.

Core Responsibilities
– Develop and optimize perception pipelines for dynamic, real-world environments
– Combine traditional image processing with ML-based approaches for object recognition, depth inference, and spatial mapping
– Evaluate and integrate sensor technologies (e.g., stereo cameras, LiDAR, time-of-flight) for diverse operational contexts
– Build and train models for object classification, detection, and multi-object tracking
– Apply deep learning frameworks to enhance system precision and responsiveness
– Design and execute validation protocols to ensure performance across edge cases and deployment scenarios
– Collaborate across hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to align perception capabilities with overall platform architecture
– Document methodologies and communicate findings clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications
– Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related discipline
– Proven track record in developing perception systems for autonomous platforms or industrial automation
– Strong grasp of image-level features, statistical descriptors, and high-dimensional embeddings
– 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python, C++, Rust, or similar languages
– Practical experience with algorithms for detection, segmentation, SLAM, or scene understanding
– Proficiency in ML and vision libraries such as PyTorch, OpenCV, CUDA, PCL, or Open3D
– Familiarity with depth sensing modalities and multi-sensor fusion strategies
– Excellent analytical skills and ability to thrive in iterative, experimental workflows
Preferred Experience
– Real-world deployment of vision systems in robotics or automation environments
– Understanding of control systems, industrial protocols, and hardware-software interfacing
– Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo or Isaac Sim
– Development experience within ROS2 or similar robotic middleware frameworks
