As a Chief Scientist, the candidate will lead the development and implementation of new signal processing algorithms for wireless systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work at theoretical algorithm development while also being hands-on to write software and analyze data. Additionally, the perfect candidate should be able to develop new algorithms, analyze their capabilities, implement, and debug performance in high-performance computing environments using Python or Matlab.

 

Main responsibilities include:

Design, architect, model, and implement systems for RF applications
Led team members to plan, implement and interpret results from internal and external test activities
Write design documents, simulation and test reports, and system documentation.
Present to internal and external collaborators

QUALIFICATIONS
BS 12-15, MS 10-13. PhD 10+

Requires an Active US Secret Clearance.
15+ years of experience developing and working with signal processing systems, working with large teams, and analyzing experimental data
12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 12 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D. Masters’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Active security clearance
Proficiency in Python and Matlab is required. Additionally, experience with C++ and other simulation and evaluation techniques will be helpful.
Multiple peer-reviewed publications on wireless signal processing
Experience with leading large teams for DoD projects. Must work well collaboratively and individually
Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills
