Wireless Systems Research Scientist – Job Order 2864


The work will involve research, design, and modeling of wireless systems and algorithms. Listed below are some key skills required for this project (as well as potential future ones). They include understanding and hands-on experience with:
(a) Signal processing techniques for wireless (communications, electronic warfare, and/or radar) systems
(b) Performance modeling of wireless systems
(c) Wireless system interfaces and implementation techniques
(d) Software development experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and familiarity with source control tools such as “git”
The candidate will be responsible for participating in research projects and working with a team of research scientists to design, implement and test solutions for wireless systems. The candidate will also participate in preparing presentations and demonstrations for technical information exchanges with the end customer. With time, the candidate will take onleadership roles and provide assistance with writing research proposals in various areas of wireless systems.


Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
