What you’ll be doing:
• Independently determine and develop software solutions with technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.
• Lead software teams across sites in the development of new products
• Investigate and analyze product issues and design appropriate solutions to improve performance
• Drive improvements to existing software engineering processes, design standards, and best practices
• Design appropriate product testing and analysis of results
• Write technical documents including design, process, and product documentation
• Approve design releases
Qualifications and Required Skills
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
•1 to 5+ years of embedded software development experience
• Demonstrated expertise in the development & debugging of software in real-time embedded environments
• Strong experience with RTOS (real-time operating system) and bare metal systems
• Excellent working knowledge of C programming language
• Experience using Software Configuration Management systems (e.g. Perforce, git)
